EG demonstrated how to perform smart CO2 calculations at the Molio conference 2023

The theme was 'Digitalization of Construction' at this year's Molio Conference on October 12th in Middelfart. EG was participating and demonstrating how construction companies can meet new sustainability requirements with the latest EG software.

The green transition imposes demands on the construction industry, and new digital industry tools can assist construction companies in meeting new requirements for sustainable construction with the least possible CO2 footprint.

LCA calculations without extra effort in EG Sigma

In collaboration with Molio, the construction industry knowledge center, EG was presenting with several speakers. Magnus Therkildsen, Senior Manager in software development, along with Thomas Holm, Senior Product Owner, and Molio, present 'Molio, EG Collab, and EG Sigma: A Collaboration for Sustainability in 3D Models.'

They explained how construction companies can easily manage their LCA accounts and documentation in BIM projects by combining the EG Collab platform, EG Sigma calculations, and Molio's Price Data, which will include CO2 data in 2024.

EG's Thomas Kolenda, Senior Product Manager, also demonstrated in collaboration with Molio's Product Manager, Flemming Lindberg Nielsen, how contractors and consultants can perform LCA calculations very simply. This was covered in the presentation 'LCA Calculation - Quick and Simple.'
