The app opens directly to the user’s default floor, allowing quick access to real-time space information. This reduces unnecessary time use and makes daily usage even more intuitive. “Users particularly value smoothness and ease of use in daily usage, so we significantly focused on this in the update,” comments Ilkka Münster, Product Manager, EG.
Visual clarity and faster bookings
In both the mobile and web applications, bookable resources like meeting rooms and workstations now appear clearly as green dots, making it easier to find free spaces quickly. Users can also filter spaces by date, time, or resource type. “With these new features, users can make their bookings in seconds,” Münster notes.
Parking spaces and meeting rooms – all in one application!
The updated EG Worksense mobile and web applications now also support parking space reservations, enhancing the overall office experience. Additionally, meeting rooms can be reserved for future dates, offering even more flexibility. Whether it's booking a meeting room or a parking space, users can manage everything from one app. “The addition of parking spaces was a request from our customers, and we’re pleased to be able to offer this feature,” says Münster.
New features in the web application
The web application updates introduce new functions that make office space management easier. Users can change floors directly from the floor plan, speeding up navigation. Additionally, a new role has been introduced, allowing the role holder to delete bookings made by other users. This improves management and adds more flexibility to office use. “The new features in the web application make space management even more centralized and efficient,” Münster adds.
